We aim to provide an environment where continuous development can take place. A place where staff are supported and enabled to meet the changing demands and priorities of the CSP and its members.
We promote learning as an integral part of what we do, and encourage staff to take personal ownership for their own learning and career development.
Continuous professional development
We believe that learning happens every day in the workplace, through:
- interacting with others,
- carrying out activities,
- team work,
- collaboration and problem-solving,
- cross-directorate teams working together,
- use of technology and more.
We learn by being immersed in the workplace experience.
We encouraged staff to undertake both formal and informal learning, and focus on two or three development needs / goals that are important to their performance and career progression.
