CSP staff are viewed as the organisation's most valuable resource.
We aim to provide an environment where continuous development can take place and where staff are supported and enabled to meet the changing demands and priorities of the CSP and its members.
We promote learning to become an integral part of what we do on a day-to-day basis and encourage staff to take personal ownership and responsibility for their own learning and career development.
We believe that learning happens every day in the workplace, in a myriad of ways: interacting with others, carrying out activities, team work, collaboration and problem-solving, cross-directorate teams working together, use of technology and more. We learn by being immersed in the workplace experience.
Staff are therefore encouraged to undertake both formal and informal learning and focus on two or three development needs/goals that are critically important to their performance and career progression.
