CSP policy

Our position on practice, employment and other issues that matter.

What is CSP policy?

Policy within the CSP is simply the position we take as an organisation on practice, employment or other issues.  We intend to provide these resources in a more accessible format in the near future, but for now you can view our repository of CSP policy. Should you need to access this in a different format, please email enquiries@csp.org.uk.

We take policy positions to influence practice, employers and government policies and achieve this through our campaigns

How does the CSP decide on policy?

Our elected Council determines CSP policy. Council is advised by our annual reps conference, committees, country boards, networks and staff, and from this determines our policy

Our staff interpret existing policy in light of current circumstances and plan and deliver our influencing campaigns with the support of our policy and influencing framework

You can view our position statements, consultation responses, briefings and guidance across a wide range of policy and professional areas below.
