Winter Webinar Resources from the CSP North East Regional Network

The CSP North East Regional Network invites all CSP members to view their latest webinar recordings. 

Themed on building back better – together and stronger – in the North East the webinar series started on Tuesday 29 November and was attended by CSP members from around the UK. 

The first webinar included CPD featuring presentations from: 

Speaking on making the case for population health and tackling inequalities with a focus on the role allied health professionals can and should make on this agenda and the unique impact of physiotherapy staff especially need to be making.

  • Aimee Robson, deputy director, personalised care (clinical, workforce and lived experience), NHS England

Making the link between population health management, personalised care and health inequalities and sharing examples that physiotherapy staff can use in practice including behavioural science skills, patient activation, supported self-management and shared decision making.

  • Rachel Newton, head of policy, CSP

Presenting 'Rehabilitation, recovery and reducing health inequity: easing the pain', a CSP report that raises awareness of health inequities in rehabilitation and recovery services across the UK.

The second session took place on Tuesday 6 Decemberand featured presentations on:

  • Post-Covid Rehab Service with Pete Trathen, advanced physiotherapist - respiratory medicine, and Debbie Collins, advanced physiotherapist, post-covid rehab team, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals
  • Social Prescribing: A Journey in South Tyneside, Nick Livadas, clinical lead for South Tyneside musculoskeletal service. Nick will be joined for the Q&A by Hal Brace, clinical services manager, NHS commissioned iMSK service South Tyneside
