Plan your visit to CSP Annual Conference

CSP Annual Conference 2026 is taking place on 19 and 20 October at Glasgow Scottish Event Campus (SEC). Plan ahead for a hassle-free experience.

Book accommodation in advance

If you will need an overnight stay in Glasgow, explore hotel options early. The CSP has partnered with Reservation Highway to offer delegates several hotel options at discounted rates, all with breakfast included.

To secure special rates, book on the Reservation Highway website, call 01423 525577 or email admin@reservation-highway.co.uk.

Here are a few key things to consider in advance along with key information on getting to the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) Glasgow.

Glasgow Scottish Event Campus (SEC)

Plan your transport early

Travel gets more expensive closer to the date of the event. Aim to book your tickets as early as possible to secure the best rates and travel times.

Timetables and fares are usually released 12 weeks before the date of travel, so book your tickets in August

Travel by plane

Glasgow is served by three international airports, with connections across the world. The closest is Glasgow International Airport.

Glasgow rail travel special offer

Delegates can buy a ScotRail Conference Rover ticket, costing just £5 for up to five days travel within the Conference Zone (including journeys between Glasgow Central and Exhibition Centre). To get the deal, visit a ticket office at a Conference Zone station. You may be asked to show your conference registration confirmation.

Travel by train

Trains run to the SEC from Glasgow city centre with a journey time of just three minutes.

The SEC is served by the dedicated Exhibition Centre station, allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs.

There are six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Glasgow Central platform 17 (on the lower level) to Exhibition Centre.

Travel by bus

The 100 Riversider service runs from George Square (north) in Glasgow city centre to the SEC then Riverside Museum and back every 30 minutes.

Two other bus services operate next to the SEC campus, stopping on Lancefield Street near the Clyde Arc bridge, only a two-minute walk from the main venue. These services travel to and from the city centre regularly.

Travel by car

The SEC is conveniently situated for motorists, just off the M8 motorway and with plenty of parking. Use postcode G3 8GS for directions to the main car park operated by Glasgow City Council.

Travel by coach

If you are planning to travel with a group on a coach or minibus, please email conference@csp.org.uk to let us know and discuss parking arrangements.

Share where you can

Why not coordinate plans with other people who are attending the conference? Carpooling, splitting taxi fares or sharing hotel rooms (where appropriate) can help to keep costs down and make logistics easier.

If you're driving, share the journey with colleagues and peers, reducing costs and emissions. Or share a taxi with others.
