Gaining its Royal Charter in 1966, the University of Bradford offers a range of practical courses across the spectrum of disciplines: engineering, applied sciences, health sciences, management, and the social sciences. The University has an excellent record in graduate employment, consistently ranked #1 in Yorkshire in the Times Good University Guide. Bradford is now a more popular choice than ever for students who want to give their career the best possible start.
Set on a convenient campus (close to the centre of a lively city with one of the lowest costs of living in the country), most students live within easy walking distance of the University.
Bradford is centrally located in the UK, with easy links by road, rail and air to the rest of the UK, and is surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery in England. A new School of Health Studies building is due for completion in July 2011.
