A physiotherapy role like no other!
Research into Practice Advisor in our Practice & Development unit in our London office
- £49,059 per annum 35 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract
Based in our London office when restrictions lift with homeworking available (subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements) or solely homebased.

If you are a physiotherapist with a desire to grow research capacity and capability across the profession, we would like to hear from you.
In this role you will have a key role in integrating the research pillar of practice into physiotherapy career frameworks, to ensure that research is a core component of physiotherapy practice at all levels. You will develop peer support networks for our members which will facilitate them in increasing their confidence, skills and opportunities for practice based research and will have a crucial role in supporting and growing these networks.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external bodies to increase opportunities for collaborations to improve the development of key research skills across the physiotherapy profession. This varied role will see you participate in a number of projects across the CSP to promote research in practice.
You will have had experience of working to support clinicians in developing research / QI in practice and developing the research literacy, skills, confidence and capacity of people around you. You will have a good knowledge of research methodologies and will be able to impart this knowledge to others, and be confident to provide advice and support to others. To support this, you will need to have strong networking, communication, and collaboration / team working skills.
