A unique regional physiotherapy role.

Are you passionate about promoting the value of physiotherapy? Have you got the communication skills necessary to influence the regional provision of physiotherapy, and are you keen to enhance your own career portfolio?

As a Regional Physiotherapy Fellow for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), you can achieve this and more.

This is a unique opportunity and the first of its kind for the CSP, offering you the chance to experience how healthcare policy is translated regionally and the impacts for commissioning, service development and population health.

The CSP has an established network of regional teams across the UK to support members wherever they live, work or study. As a registered physiotherapist, you will use your professional knowledge, skills and experience, working with other CSP members and staff in the Yorkshire and Humber region, to raise the profile of the profession locally and to influence physiotherapy service design and provision.

You will work as part of the Yorkshire and Humber regional multi-professional team, alongside CSP colleagues from policy, communications and the trade union to develop a clear view of the opportunities for the profession in the region and engage appropriate services or individuals with these openings.

You will play a key role in the progression and delivery of corporate regional priorities with a specific focus on engaging with the Integrated Care Systems within the region, to understand their structure, plan and priorities and to identify opportunities for physiotherapy, whilst strengthening the profession’s links with these important new structures. Working with local physiotherapy services and individuals, you will engage and inspire CSP members to be active in promoting the value of physiotherapy in the region, influencing them to lead change and transformation of the local healthcare system.

This role requires a physiotherapist with good knowledge of the region, excellent communication and networking skills and a passion for the value of the profession in respect of population health.

If you are looking for an exceptionally rewarding and challenging role, would enjoy working in a team environment and seeing the difference your input makes to the profession in the region, this role is for you.
