Modernising the physiotherapy career framework project

We hope the outputs of this work will have particular relevance to the profession’s support workforce.

The previous framework published 2011 no longer reflects contemporary physiotherapy practice. It certainly no longer reflects the capability of the support workforce and what members of this workforce can contribute to professional practice.

The ambition is that the new framework will particularly reframe thinking about development of the support workforce and inspire the development of new and innovative support worker roles.
