Arthritis Research UK seeks student interns

Physiotherapy students have an opportunity to apply for internships with research projects focused on rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.

The Arthritis Research UK internship scheme is open to final year students and recent graduates who have an existing or predicted first or 2.1 class degree.

Successful applicants will receive supervision, evaluation and mentoring in research skills.

They will also have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art equipment and participate in multidisciplinary seminars and workshops.

Six places are available for this eight-week scheme. Interns will be based at the universities of Leeds, Oxford, Salford, Southampton and the West of England.

Placements will be unpaid, but each intern will receive £1,000 towards living and travel costs.

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on 11 March 2016 and the scheme will run from 4 July to 26 August 2016.
