                         (£29,695 - £37,897 per annum).

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a minimum of three years post registration experience with an interest or expertise in Palliative Care? If so, you may be the person we are looking for to join our team.

We care for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. We also support their loved ones. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,400 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

The Hospice is currently undergoing works (Build 2020) to provide a bespoke, multi-purpose, space to expand our Living Well Centre activities, of which Phase 1 is already complete.  We provide a range of activities including courses on managing breathlessness and fatigue; exercise groups and creative therapies designed to increase confidence and independence, relieve symptoms, reduce stress, anxiety and improve sleep.

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring, compassionate and committed professional to support the rehabilitative agenda within the Hospice.  You will work collaboratively with members of the Therapy and Multi-disciplinary Teams to provide a truly holistic approach to supporting patients within our In-Patient Unit, Living Well Centre and the Community setting.

You will have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience of working as a Physiotherapist and have excellent motivational and communication skills. A Physiotherapy degree or diploma and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council are essential requirements for this role.

At St. Richard’s, we provide further training and development opportunities and clinical supervision. The successful candidate will receive day-to-day managerial and professional support from a team of experienced Palliative Care Physiotherapists.

This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
