At the top of your supporting statement, please specify which role(s) you are interested in applying for (Senior Lecturer &/or Lecturer)

We are looking to appoint a Physiotherapy Lecturer and Senior Lecturer within the Faculty of Health & Wellbeing. Successful candidates will join a forward-thinking and growing team in our new Department of Health and Care Professions, and contribute to the Department’s BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree programme and placement expansion programme.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of teaching physiotherapy within HE, in addition to experience in a clinical setting within one or more areas of physiotherapy practice and the ability to contribute to other non-specialism-specific areas.  You will also have the capacity to contribute to programme administration and curriculum development, and the capability to support our students on placement.  You will need to be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and be registered as a physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).  The Senior Lecturer post will require an individual with additional experience in research and teaching in a higher education institution environment.

You should be keen to contribute to the Department’s growing research environment and/or consultancy activities.

The University particularly welcomes applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds for this post as they are under-represented in jobs at this level.  Please be assured that all applicants will be treated equally during the selection process.

One of our core values is ‘individuals matter’. As an employee at the University of Winchester, we are committed to your wellbeing and development. You will have access to a wide range of benefits and support including a comprehensive staff development programme, generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme. Further details can be found on our website.
