Director of Practice and Development Natalie Beswetherick to retire

The CSP is saddened to announce that Natalie Beswetherick, the CSP Director of Practice and Development, will be retiring from the CSP at the end of December.

Natalie has been director since 2010. During that time she has led key work to modernise the profession, define the vision of physiotherapy and revise the four pillars of physiotherapy practice. 

Commenting on her decision, Natalie said: “It has been a privilege and a pleasure to spend the last 11 years as CSP director of practice and development.  But it is time for me to start a new chapter and a new adventure. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all the professionals at the CSP who are passionate about the profession and supporting individual members in their working lives.” 

Natalie has been an active CSP member all her professional life. She was elected to the CSP council in 1993 and was chair from 1999 to 2001. Prior to this she had been a CSP workplace steward, South West region board chair and the South West CSP regional steward.
