A short video guide to help clinicians make reasonable adjustments for people with learning disabilities who access their services has been launched by the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists for People with Learning Disabilities (ACPPLD).

The video is part of ACPPLD’s ongoing ‘So your next patient has a learning disability’ campaign, which includes related resources such as posters and a written guide for physiotherapists, which is available as a pdf download here

Let’s Move for Surgery

Versus Arthritis has launched its Let’s Move for Surgery physical activity resources for people with arthritis waiting for or recovering from joint replacement surgery, along with an implementation plan for healthcare professionals. It includes a surgery toolkit with exercise videos.

Cerebral Palsy Sport 

Cerebral Palsy Sport collaborates across the UK with local, regional and national partners to make physical activity accessible for people with cerebral palsy. The charity works with children, young people and adults to make available the necessary resources to make sport enjoyable, offering a wide range of physical activities to suit a variety of interests. Resources include a DVD for physios with information and advice on how to enhance the support provided to swimmers with a physical disability.
