A little about me …
I’m Stephanie Smith-Rowles, Director & Advanced MSk Physiotherapist at Pea Green Physio, I have two clinics, one in Bicester (Est. 2008) & one in Cheltenham (Est. 2019)
I have been a Physiotherapist for 25 years, eight of those working for the MOD within Army establishments, specialising in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Twelve years as a Physio for the GB Gymnastics and Trampolining Teams at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, National, World and European Championships across the globe. I have been working in private practice since 2003. I’m now also trained in Men’s Health Physiotherapy.
I was privileged to work as a Physiotherapist Gamesmaker at the London 2012 Olympics for the Mens & Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, and within the Polyclinic at the Athletes Village during the Paralympics.
In May 2016, I was one the three UK Team Physiotherapists accompanying our UK Team of ex and current injured Military personnel to the Invictus Games in Orlando, Fl, USA.
I’m also a qualified RYA 200 Ashtanga Yoga Instructor (trained by the wonderful Ian Davis at Orange Yoga) and I’m a qualified APPI Matwork Pilates Instructor, I’m currently in the midst of my Strength & Conditioning qualification with the UKSCA.
I absolutely love my job and I’m passionate about helping my patients to be pain-free, strong and moving better! I’m a very hands-on Physio and always get to the root of the problem, leaving no stone un-turned! I place a huge emphasis on strength and conditioning, getting you better and keeping you that way!
