I am a Chartered Physiotherapist and I have been working exclusively in the field of adult neurology for over 15 years. I provide bespoke assessment, treatment, monitoring and management services for adults with all kinds of neurological conditions regardless of your age or how long you have had your condition.
I treat in accordance with the Bobath concept, a type of neurophysiotherapy which is hands on, because skilled handling can make a huge difference. Therapy is a collaborative partnership; you and I will work actively to re-establish the physical skills you require every day. Although we will develop goals specific to you, the overall aims of treatment are to maximise your independence, improve your function and for you to be as mobile as possible, whether that be running a marathon or rolling over in bed by yourself.
Treatment sessions are held in your own home. I could also visit and advise you at work, help you to participate in your hobbies or access the community. I am based in Hertfordshire but often travel further afield.
The service is flexible, we find the frequency and intensity of treatment that is right for you, at times to fit around your schedule. My goal is to deliver the best possible treatment, specifically designed for you. Cost
Initial Meeting (currently being done remotely due to Covid-19): No charge
Assessment and Treatment: £90 per hour + £15 per hour for travel (from EN7)
