M.A.E.S.  - Movement Analysis Education Strategies

M.A.E.S. Therapy is a UK based international specialised treatment approach. It is available for babies and children of all ages where neurodevelopmental conditions such as Cerebral Palsy (CP), prevent them from following a typical course of development.

MAES Therapy specialises in Early Intervention and specialised treatment for babies and children with movement and coordination difficulties, caused by a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions, which might include for example: Cerebral Palsy, Erb’s palsy, acquired head injury.

If you are a parent looking for expert and specialised physiotherapy services for your child, you have come to the right place.   Read what Parents say about M.A.E.S. Therapy:

If you are a Therapist and fellow professional looking to increase your knowledge and clinical expertise in relation to CP and similar neurodevelopmental conditions, you are also in the right place.  See our Courses Diary :

Our approach aims at providing clients with very specific and individualised treatment to improve clients’ coordination of movement on a short and long term basis.

During treatment sessions, parents and carers learn about how to best handle and interact with the child to ensure treatment is most effective and carries over into daily living.

Our strength is the in-depth analysis and understanding of movement and coordination and then finding strategies to help clients with movement disorders to develop a repertoire of new movement combinations they are unlikely to develop on their own.

We strongly believe that each child is a unique and special individual and not a ‘type’  and that it is possible to help each child fulfil their potential.

We look forward to meeting you.
