Lymden Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy (LHAP) opened in January 2021 and has a brand new purpose built hydrotherapy pool with state of the art water and air conditioning systems to ensure the highest standards of water and air hygiene.
Our facilities are fully accessible to all. We have specially designed changing facilities, equipped with automatic ceiling hoists and a manual chair or plinth hoist to ensure that our pool users with mobility impairments are able to access the pool quickly, comfortably and safely.
Our trained and qualified staff are able to provide physiotherapy and aquatic therapy for clients of all ages and conditions. Our clients range from babies of a few months old to clients of 70+ requiring post-operative care.
Our team of experienced aquatic physiotherapists treat adults with a range of conditions such as Arthritis, Joint Replacements, Sports Injuries, Back Pain, CRPS, ME, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, to name but a few.
We also run self-management classes and a variety of pool group as well as individual sessions. Our facilities are also available to hire.
Our Paediatric, Children's team work closely with Children's Neuro Physio and Children;s Physio Ltd to provide a range of clinic and pool based options including children's pilates, intensive rehab blocks post SDR or other surgeries and for children with cerebral palsy. We also provide individual and group sessions for a range of children's conditions including Developmental Delay and DCD, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Neuromuscular Disorders, DMD, CMV and other neurological Syndromes. Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis and other Rheumatological conditions, Perthes, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Arthrogryposis, Benign Hypermobility Syndrome, Sports Injuries and other Musculoskeletal Disorders.
