Barbara sees herself as a holistic physiotherapist. She has long standing experience in the field of musculo-skeletal and sports physiotherapy, ergonomics and occupational health and rehabilitation, but also has a keen interest in health promotion.
Showing her patients or students how they can best help themselves to recover, stay well and use self help should they have a relapse is as essential to her as trying to assist a speedy recovery with manual therapy.
Barbara completed her training in Germany 1985, and has continued to learn and update in the field of physiotherapy, but also Hatha Yoga, Circle Dance and Reflextherapy since her move to Britain in 1995. She became a member of the CSP in January 1996.
Currently Barbara works as employee and contractor in occupational health in the Highlands of Scotland, but also in private practice using treatment rooms in the Highland Chiropractic Clinic in Inverness as well as in CarrBridge .
