Our programme uses a modern and innovative integrated blended learning approach using technology to support face-to-face teaching, requiring university attendance not more than three days in any week.
Academics deliver our programme with extensive clinical experience and guest lecturers who are experienced clinicians.
We offer an active learning one-week observational placement in the first year of study – a unique opportunity in a range of settings. Additionally, the first Practice Placement is a four-week (20 hours/week) simulation placement to gain fundamental clinical and assessment skills.
The university has a well-established range of healthcare care and nursing programmes, including an MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) programme and we work closely with NHS and Primary Care Trusts across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.
We have purpose-built facilities, including well-equipped simulation clinics and rehabilitation teaching rooms, where students are taught throughout their course.
