An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Teaching Fellows, one in Exercise Physiology and/or Cardio-pulmonary Rehabilitation and another in Cardio-respiratory in the School of Health and Rehabilitation, one of four professional Schools in the Exercise Scientist/Physiotherapist to teach across the School’s undergraduate curriculum in both University and clinical settings.
The School offers high quality undergraduate and postgraduate provision and is part of a wider research community via the Faculty Research Institutes. Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and Exercise Science are established and growing programmes within the School. From September 2019 we will be offering a 4 year MSci in Physiotherapy and from January 2020 a pre-registration Masters in Physiotherapy.
You will play a part in the development of educational initiatives aligned with the School strategic direction, and will pursue scholarly activities in line with the School focus. You will be an HCPC registered Physiotherapist or an Exercise Physiologist with research training, with an appreciation of the principles of teaching and learning in higher education. Depending upon the profile of the successful candidate it may be possible to explore longer term career development opportunities that involve research.
