Stroke Physiotherapist
Fixed term post - covering maternity leave
This is an opportunity to work with a well established multidiscplinary stroke team in Enfield covering maternity leave from mid March 2019 until February 2020.The applicant should have proven stroke skills and have access to a car for work purposes.
The team which consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists , speech and language therapist and speech and language technical assistant and rehabilitation assistants.
We are supported by social services and Attend. The service provides rehabilitation to new stroke victims who may be discharged directly from the hyperacute stroke unit or from local acute stroke units. Rehabilitation is based on jointly agreed goals and input is provided until the goals are achieved or the patients progression has reached a plateau.
