We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician who demonstrates excellent communication skills and leadership qualities. You will be a strong team player, possessing a solid foundation in core clinical skills. You will embrace innovation and be committed to following evidence based clinical practice.

Based within Monmouthshire Borough, across Monnow Vale and Chepstow Hospital sites, you will form part of the Wye Valley outpatient physiotherapy team. You will display sound clinical skills in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. This post will provide an opportunity to contribute in service development and local delivery plan, whilst being supported by experienced musculoskeletal clinicians including clinical specialists and team leads within the speciality.

The Physiotherapy Service encourages staff development through local and Health Board wide in-service training programmes across different specialities, as well as speciality forums, clinical audit, research and clinical supervision and mentoring.

We have a structured appraisal system with annual reviews underpinned by the Knowledge and Skills Framework. It is expected that you will be actively involved in assisting in the education and mentoring of rotational staff and physiotherapy students from Cardiff School of Physiotherapy.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
