Clinical Band 6: £31,239 - £38,420

37.5 hours per week

As a Specialist Physiotherapist you will be part of the Allied Health

Professional Team that consists of Occupational Therapists and

Physiotherapists. The service we provide is delivered to patients who are

expected to be in the last year of their life, either in our In Patient Unit in

Dorchester, in their own homes in Central, North and South Dorset, in our

Day Services and as Out Patients in Weymouth and Dorchester.

Weldmar is proud to provide a specialist service to people who also have life

limiting illnesses other than cancer, which includes motor neurone disease and

respiratory conditions such as pulmonary fibrosis and COPD.

In return Weldmar offer a suite of excellent wellbeing resources for staff in

recognition of the difference each team member provides to people’s lives.

This post also offers opportunity to develop specific areas of interest in relation to

end of life and palliative care in a supportive AHP Team and of working in a multidisciplinary

environment that aims to enhance the quality of life for patients and for

those important to them.
