Vacancy details

We have an exciting opportunity to join our truly unique charity supporting young people who have suffered catastrophic injury through sport, working as a Neuro-Physiotherapist, based in the beautiful countryside of Leicestershire, in our brand new, state of the art Rehabilitation Centre.

About the role

The Matt Hampson Foundation was set up by our inspirational founder Matt Hampson who suffered life changing injuries while training with England’s under 21’s Rugby team. Since Matt’s accident he has worked tirelessly to build up this Foundation that now supports many beneficiaries to ‘get busy living!’.

The Foundation can now invite beneficiaries to receive best in class physiotherapy on site at our brand new Get Busy Living Rehabilitation Centre, and as our beneficiary numbers grow, we need to invest in building a talented team of physiotherapists to help continue to provide this invaluable support.

Being a Physiotherapist with us is truly rewarding offering you the opportunity to help those that need your expertise and support the most, and with the newest state of the art gym equipment and technology on the market.  You will work with a dynamic and passionate team, and be in constant interaction with not just our beneficiaries, but work with their friends and families to provide a holistic offering of both physical and emotional support.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll be a qualified and practicing specialist physiotherapist in neurology, and most importantly you’ll be someone who can demonstrate a strong level of emotional intelligence and adaptable communication skills to understand how people tick and find ways to positively challenge and motivate our beneficiaries to enable them to get busy living.

You’ll be person-centered with sound clinical reasoning skills and have the ability to deliver therapeutic, rehabilitation interventions within a gym environment.  You’ll be joining a proactive and forward-thinking team so you will need that energizing drive and commitment to making a difference every day.

In addition you’ll have:

  • excellent handling and facilitatory skills
  • an interest in gym based exercise & rehabilitation technology
  • a strong desire to work as a team
  • Band 6 or above qualification

What we offer

You’d be joining a highly reputable and growing charity, with a great team who all have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering first class support to our beneficiaries.  We offer a highly competitive starting salary of £30,000 pro-rata per annum, along with 25 days annual leave which increases the longer you stay with us, an opportunity to attend exclusive charity events, and a truly unique working environment with a flexible and family-friendly ethos.

So, what are you waiting for…
