Applications are invited for the permanent position of Senior Physiotherapist in Cardiorespiratory: Medical Respiratory Care in St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Role Summary:
To join the Physiotherapy Cardiorespiratory team and to develop the Physiotherapy Department’s Medical Respiratory Care Service in accordance with the Mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the organisation. This role will involve the design, development and delivery of an effective outpatient’s service for respiratory patients, including the out-patient follow-up of medical respiratory patients, the prescription of airway clearance adjuncts, oxygen prescription and management. Inclusion criteria, assessment and treatment will follow the evidence base and align with services within the acute hospital and our external stakeholders.
Panel: A panel may be formed to fill upcoming permanent, whole time vacancies over the next 6 months.
