We are looking for self-motivated and forward thinking clinicians who are strong team players with the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. Possessing a solid foundation in core clinical skills they will embrace innovation and be committed to following best clinical practice.

Based within Newport, Royal Gwent Hospital & St Woolos outpatient physiotherapy department the successful candidates will be working with highly skilled clinical specialists and Team Leader.

The Physiotherapy Service encourages staff development through local and Health Board wide in-service training programmes across different specialities, as well as speciality forums, clinical audit, research and clinical supervision and mentoring.

We have a structured appraisal system with annual reviews underpinned by the Knowledge and Skills Framework. It is expected that you will be actively involved in assisting in the education and mentoring of rotational staff and physiotherapy students from Cardiff School of Physiotherapy.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
