Senior Orthopaedic / MSK home visit physiotherapist required
Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 (base rate & bonuses)
33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
Post Op Home Physio is one of London’s leading home physio services, covering all London boroughs and specialising in helping clients recover from orthopaedic surgery. We are looking for an experienced orthopaedic physiotherapist to join our friendly team.
Successful candidate will be a confident and autonomous practitioner who can effectively manage their time and provide first class care to their clients. Successful candidate will have an extensive background in orthopaedic physiotherapy, have current HCPC and CSP registration, and a keen interest in continued professional development (CPD). Candidates must have a professional and friendly manner, enjoy working independently, and be willing to travel throughout London.
Upon successful application and interview the new starter will receive induction and training. Full support from the Post Op Home Physio team will be provided throughout employment.

- 37.5 hours per week including client contact time, travel & admin.
Salary
- £30,000 - £45,000 (base rate + bonuses)
- Bonuses offered based on repeat visits and time served at Post Op Home Physio

Essential requirements
- Driven, independent & motivated physiotherapist with orthopaedic/ Msk and home visit experience
- At least 3 years post graduate experience with evidence of work in Orthopaedic rehab and recovery.
- Previous experience of working in the community and visiting clients in their own home.
- HCPC registered
- CSP registered
- UK resident (London based)
- Full UK clean driver’s license
- Car driver with vehicle access
- Willing to travel within the boroughs of London dependant on where clients are. Clients will be booked in if possible to minimise travel however this is not always possible therefore at times you will need to travel further to see clients- Travel expenses paid.
Role & responsibility
- Delivering high quality orthopaedic physiotherapy to clients throughout London
- Independent management of caseload of varying surgical procedures
- Expert assessment skills adapting to all relevant orthopaedic procedures
- Appropriate use of outcome measures
- Client led goal setting
- Effective treatment skills to include the following:
- Exercise prescription & progression
- Manual techniques to increase range of movement
- Gait re-education
- Progression of balance & proprioception
- Advice & education of surgical procedures
- Appropriate progression of clients through post-op surgical protocols
- Provide updated home exercise programmes post Rx
- Build excellent rapport with clients and their families/ carers
- Effective use of evidence based treatment
- Write notes in timely manner following all CSP guidelines
- Update practice management system daily
- Communicate clearly with team manager & admin team
- Communicate appropriately with any other healthcare professionals involved in client care
- Provide progress reports for consultants & insurance companies if required
- Work with diverse group of clientele from different backgrounds
- Build long term relationship with client for continuation of therapy after acute goals have been achieved
- Motivate & support client through the psychological challenges of post-surgical rehab
- Adhere to HCPC & CSP guidelines at all times
- Maintain CPD independently and through company run CPD sessions
