Here at Spire St Anthony’s Hospital we currently have vacancies within our team for enthusiastic Senior Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapists at Band 6 and 7 level.

Last year we completed plans to expand Spire St Anthony’s Hospital with a £60 million investment into a state-of-the-art Physiotherapy Centre, 6 new Operating Theatres and a 9 bedded Recovery Suite, an enlarged Sterile Services department and dedicated Paediatric facilities. This allows us to broaden our cardiac surgery programme, supported by a Level 3 Intensive Care and Cardiac Cath Lab as well as introduce Neurosurgery to our list of specialities.

Duties and responsibilities

The role will include assessing and treating a range of musculoskeletal problems, including a large proportion of orthopaedics and some paediatric patients.

Spire St Anthony’s offer a robust CPD programme, including a regular in service training, clinical supervision and opportunities to work closely with our consultants.

We have an on-site hydrotherapy pool and fully equipped rehabilitation gym including an anti-gravity treadmill.

Who we're looking for

You will hold a Diploma or Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) and current HCPC Registration. Post graduate experience in treating orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries in an outpatients setting.

Ideally you have experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied caseloads. If you have some experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for new services, this would be advantageous.
