Along the journey of your physiotherapy career, you will have learnt many things. No doubt one of those pearls of wisdom, is that small things have the power to make a big difference. You see it every day in those you’re helping on the path to recovery – the little wins and gains that all add up, and ultimately point toward positivity. And now, that moment is yours – your time to discover how focusing on the smaller things for your career – and quality of life – will deliver the big rewards.

That’s the beauty a life in Timaru has in store for you. Enjoy the lifestyle in a smaller centre that truly punches above its weight, while developing your career with a smaller district health board that’ll deliver more options, variety, and opportunity than you probably thought possible! It’s all about finding that ideal balance. On the career side of the equation you’ll be in your element – empowered to be and give your best in a true multidisciplinary role. With exposure to inpatient, outpatient, and community you’ll cover the full physio spectrum, including working with patients in ICU, surgical, maternity, ATR (rehab) and more. All this adds up to excellent scope for professional development, backed by the support and strong sense of collegiality from our wider team.

And let’s not forget what’s on offer in terms of life away from work. The charm and community spirit of Timaru is something you’re sure to love. Wave goodbye to congestion, crazy commutes, and the general stress of big city life. Instead, welcome more space, quality affordable housing and nature’s stunning playground on your doorstep. Whether you’re currently in another part of New Zealand, or another part of the world, we’re committed to working with you to make your relocation as simple and seamless as possible.

So, if you can see how less really is more, and you’re ready to make this your moment, get in touch today.
