The Isle of Wight NHS Trust has an opportunity for a Band 5, HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Services.
The post holder will be part of a Band 5 rotation scheme, working at St. Mary's Hospital and within the Community setting which involves 7 day services.
Experience can be gained in specialties which include General Surgery, ITU, Medicine, Orthopaedics, Msk Out-patients, Rehabilitation, Neurology and Care of the Elderly. You'll need to have relevant undergraduate clinical placements within the NHS and a current driving licence will be essential for community elements of the post.
The service offers a commitment to ongoing professional development through access to in-house and external post-graduate training and offers a supportive, friendly network of colleagues. The department supports students from Southampton University on clinical placement.
The Isle of Wight offers a good work/life balance and a pleasant climate for those interested in nature, culture and many outdoor activities. Traffic congestion is rare. Regular ferries provide an easy & fast commute to Southampton, Portsmouth, Lymington and London.
