We have created a new and exciting opportunity and now we are looking for Newly Qualified Physiotherapists to join our established busy Physiotherapy departments.
As an organisation we fully understand , that beginning your career can be a very daunting experience and we want to make sure we give you the best possible start. Nuffield Health want aim to give you the support you need, we have therefore and have developed a multi-disciplinary preceptorship programme, with the purpose aims to develop the skills to that help you be successful in your selected clinical role.
The preceptorship is a 9-month development program, which you will be that we aim to enrolled into you on within 6 months of commencing your employment. You will also complete Physiotherapy specific role essential training and have an enhanced CPD programme running alongside it.
Working across our diverse organisation of hospitals, gyms, and medical centres, is where you’ll be expose to a varied of caseload and learn from experienced clinicians whilst developing your career as a Physiotherapist with a structured learning programme.
If you have a BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or awaiting registration, evidence of clinical Reasoning, great communication skills and confident with IT systems then this might be the opportunity for you!
The Role
A mix of autonomous and supervised working with a range of people with varying conditions and ages. You will provide physiotherapy treatment with the opportunity with work a diverse complete clinical caseload across our hospitals
(Musculoskeletal, neurological, rheumatological)
You will see a wide range of conditions from sports to workplace related injuries and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain, and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.
This role includes the local physiotherapy providing exposure and experience in Orthopaedic Inpatients, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Rheumatology, and Corporate Health.
As a Physiotherapist you will;
- Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient’s needs.
- Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided
- Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes
- Be proactive in your own personal and professional development, utilising the support of local/senior colleagues and show motivation to develop our clinical services.
The Person
We are looking for you to:
- Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or MSc Physiotherapy, you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or awaiting registration.
- Demonstrate evidence of excellent Clinical Reasoning, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
- Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.
- Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills.
