Physiotherapist/Senior Physiotherapist - Band 5 or 6 depending on experience, Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.

Full time hours to include on-call, weekend and Bank holiday duties as part of 7 day rota.



We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist to join the integrated Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy service in Chelmsford.



As part of the Essex Success regime, Broomfield Hospital is an innovative, dynamic environment which would suit a forward thinking individual who is keen to develop their clinical skills in this fast-paced, varied and stimulating setting. The Broomfield site also includes St Andrews centre, the regional Burns and Plastic surgery unit.

The posts are rotational, covering all areas of the acute hospital including the Emergency department, Stroke, Critical Care, Burns and Plastics ,Orthopaedics Trauma/Elective surgery and Elderly/Acute Medicine . You will be working within integrated teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants, supported by Advanced Physiotherapists in all areas. Our department has a strong focus on professional and personal development, with a commitment to regular clinical supervision for all staff, as well as rotational and annual appraisal. We have strong links to our AHP colleagues in Speech and Language therapy and Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as the specialist Dementia and Elderly Assessment teams.

All Registered Nurse/Midwife/Theatre Practitioner or ODP you will be required to take a Drug Calculation Test. (please note 100% pass mark required)

All HCA/HCSW/MCA will be required to take a Literacy and Numeracy test (80% pass required) as part of the pre employment process.
