Vacancy details

This is an exciting new opportunity for Physiotherapists at many different stages in their careers.

This is an opportunity for a Physiotherapist who has compassion to help and empower those less fortunate in the Humanitarian and Development sector, whilst using their Physiotherapist abilities to strengthen diplomatic/international organisations mandates by keeping them in post.

The role was created due to the clear and important needs in Juba, South Sudan.

Cornerstones of the role include;

  • Clinical assessment and treatment of diplomats/internationals with common pathologies
  • Manual handling training delivery
  • Ergonomic assessments with analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborative work with Humanity and Inclusion (formerly Handicap International), in the Protection of Civilian camps in Juba; treating beneficiaries, empowering families and healthcare workers through training provision.

MRDCi is a not-for-profit organization that was created to serve both the diplomatic/internationals and the community they are surrounded by.

A Physiotherapist in this role would complement very well the work already being done, and branch into new arenas that are required to prevent injury, rather than wait for an injury to occur.

The Principles and Values on which our work is based are; Excellence, Compassion, Education, Prevention, Integrity and Dignity.
