Nash College, part of Livability – a Christian charity, is an independent specialist day and residential college of further education providing for students, aged 18 to 25 with a range of complex learning needs, physical disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. Livability creates opportunities for disabled people and brings life to communities.

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Grade D (Band 6 equivalent) Physiotherapist to join our dynamic therapy team The successful applicant should have a special interest in working with young adults with complex learning disabilities/ ASD in a secondary school/ college environment. Experience of working with this client group in a community setting is desirable but applicants with other relevant experience will be considered. You should be able to demonstrate excellent assessment, observation and verbal and written communication skills.  We work closely with a large multidisciplinary team; therapists and education staff, to ensure we deliver a high quality therapy service to our students. We provide Aquatic and Rebound Therapy.

  • An excellent opportunity to work with young adults with a diverse range of conditions and presentations including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder under the guidance of a Specialist (Band 7 equivalent) and a Lead (Band 8a equivalent) Physiotherapist and supported by two Physiotherapy Assistants
