Salary Scale: St. Richard’s Hospice Payscale Pay Point 12
(£25,651 - £26,933 pro rata per annum).
St. Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days through our community teams, our newly developed state-of-the-art day centre and our seventeen beds. We offer care and encouragement to our patients, enabling them to take control of their lives as their condition changes and also offer support to their families and carers.
As part of Build 2020, St Richard’s Hospice is currently undertaking significant expansion in order to be able to provide support to more patients and families in Worcestershire and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and positive professional to join us as a Physiotherapist to support the rehabilitative agenda within the Hospice.
The post holder will work as part of the St. Richard’s specialist multi-disciplinary palliative care team to provide rehabilitation and therapies across the Hospice services and will receive professional support from a team of experienced Palliative Care Physiotherapists. This is an exciting opportunity where your existing skills, knowledge and experience can be developed further through our ongoing investment in your professional development.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year’s post registration experience of working as a Physiotherapist and have excellent motivational and communication skills. A Physiotherapy degree or diploma and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council are essential requirements for this role.
