Nash College, part of Livability – a Christian charity, is an independent specialist day and residential college of further education providing for students, aged 18 to 25 with a range of complex learning needs, physical disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. If you are looking for a new challenge and want to progress your career, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced physiotherapist to join our small and friendly physiotherapy team. This is a wide ranging role and you will have the opportunity to work with our students with Learning Disabilities in areas such as Hydrotherapy and Rebound therapy.

The existing physiotherapy team will adapt according to the Band of the successful candidate.

The Band 8a (equivalent) post would come with additional management responsibilities and be working in a job share with the current (part time) post holder.

You will be required to work closely with other members of the therapy and education team and will be responsible for delivering, with colleagues, an excellent physiotherapy service. They will provide expert clinical knowledge and professional leadership within the field of Physiotherapy.

Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, as well as an understanding of the different professional roles and responsibilities is essential, along with experience in management (for the 8a post) and an innovative approach to service development. We require you to be HCPC registered with a degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, organised and adaptable person who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You must be able to work autonomously and as a team player.Experience of working in the fields of learning disability/complex needs and experience in hydrotherapy, seating and complex postural management is desired.
