We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled physiotherapist to join our team at Hampden Sports clinic based at the national stadium, Hampden park, Glasgow. The role is a full-time position of 35 hours per week from Monday - Saturday which will be primarily based at our main clinical site at Hampden park where you will be supported by a team of Physiotherapists, Sports medicine doctor, podiatrists, Sports scientists and massage therapists in a fantastic multi disciplinary team. We have satellite clinics across Glasgow at the prestigious University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde where we are also involved in academic teaching which is an area the successful candidate may wish to be involved in.
The role is primarily to treat musculoskeletal issues where we have around a thousand patient contacts per month but you will also have the opportunity to work with elite athletes in our collaboration with SportScotland institute of Sport and the Scottish FA. The clinic has also been the main provider of physiotherapy services for the European indoor athletics championships and the multisport European Championships which gives further opportunities to diversify the role in the future.
The successful candidate will be either a junior or senior physiotherapist preferably of at least 3 years experience and have a passion to work in the field of MSK and sports physiotherapy.
