Are you a skilled physio that wants to work supporting babies and children with Cerebral Palsy, at our Centre and in the local community?

Post title:                     Bobath Physiotherapist (Community Service)

Salary Range:             FTE: 25,000 to £45,000, pro-rata

Responsible to:           Clinical Lead

Working Hours:           Part-time, Flexible 12 hours per week, to be agreed

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Bobath Centre, the original home of the Bobath approach, that’s based in Watford, Hertfordshire. Work in our recently opened refurbished and purpose-built Centre or in the community, as part of a friendly and dynamic team of Physios, OTs and SLTs.

You must be highly motivated to work and learn, with a specific interest in Cerebral Palsy therapy and keen to develop both professionally and personally through clinical practice, courses, in-house teaching and mentoring provided by the experienced team of Bobath therapists and tutors. UK experience is vital.

We're looking for physiotherapists who:

are great team players – you are someone who contributes to the therapy team and with others in the Centre, who shares their own skills and knowledge and is willing to learn from others. 

enjoys working flexibly - we're a growing organisation with a big reputation, so we need someone who thrives in this kind of environment

gains satisfaction from supporting babies and children with Cerebral Palsy- and is inspired by our approach that delivers long term benefit, so that everyone we support with Cerebral Palsy reaches their potential

wants to support our clients in the local community and is comfortable liaising with health & social care professionals, educational settings and NICUs

holds an MSc or BSc in Physiotherapy 

trained in the Basic Bobath course or is willing to be trained in the Basic Bobath course

 Evidence of up to date and relevant CPD
