Lancashire Constabulary’s Human Resources Occupational Health & Wellbeing Department is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to be based at Hutton Headquarters.
The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.
The purpose of this role is to lead, co-ordinate and develop a rapid access Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Service for all employees where appropriate.
The post holder will work as a physiotherapy practitioner and triage referrals to the Occupational Health Physiotherapy Service, ensuring a timely service. This will be achieved by implementing changes in clinical practice and service delivery using national guidelines and evidence based practice.
Overall the post holder will be responsible for own practice and accountable for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care delivered to the client - being the employees of Lancashire Constabulary.
The post-holder will assume the professional role of First Contact Practitioner and undertake clinical assessments to determine an employees fitness for work.
The role is part time and you will be working 2 days a week.
