We are looking for a Physiotherapist who will deliver integrated physiotherapy services to a range of sports working towards the 2022 Commonwealth Games and other key targets.

Institute Physiotherapists operate in a variety of environments and locations and can undertake significant national and international travel in support of training camps and international competition.

The successful candidate will have excellent skills in optimising athlete physical performance, injury management and rehabilitation. You will have the ability to work within a range of sporting and clinical environments and the capability to work effectively both independently and with a varied network of coaching and multidisciplinary support staff.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a physiotherapy qualification and be registered with the Health Care Professions Council. A postgraduate qualification in Sports Physiotherapy or similar would also be desirable.

You will have experience of working as a Chartered Physiotherapist in a healthcare environment as well as significant experience of working as a Physiotherapist in a multidisciplinary high performance or professional sport environment. Experience of travelling in support of athletes or teams domestically and internationally is required.

This vacancy is full-time with the day-to-day workload focused within the East of Scotland however travel throughout the institute network will be required. A full driving licence is essential, as is the ability to travel independently between sportscotland sites.
