We have several exciting opportunities for Physiotherapists to join our team in opening a brand-new hospital in London, Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, opening in the autumn of 2021. We are looking for an array of Physiotherapist with different skill sets from Inpatient and Outpatient, MSK to Orthopaedic and Cardio who will lead the delivery of high-quality patient care.
In autumn 2021, we’ll open the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.
The new hospital will consist of:
- 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
- 28 consultation rooms
- Three digital operating theatres
- Cardiac catheterisation lab
- Specialist intensive care beds
- Oncology day unit
- Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
- Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
With a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
At Nuffield Health, your role calls for equal excellence in technical and people skills. You’ll need high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail. You’ll also need a caring nature and the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy. Here, you’ll deliver a high-quality physiotherapy service for a very varied caseload.
