We deliver long-term rehabilitation therapy, complementary treatments and vital support to people with neurological conditions. You will be working in a small team taking on individual and group sessions.

What are the main duties of the role?
The therapist(s) appointed will become valued members of the team. They will be required to:

  • Work independently to assess, plan and carry out the most suitable therapy, to meet the needs of the Client Member.
  • Advise, support and train carers and family members to help the Client Member maintain their independence for as long as possible.
  • Build and nurture links between the client and their carers/family with the NHS and other healthcare professionals and agencies.
  • Guide and supervise junior members of the team; share knowledge and experience.
  • Represent the Centre by taking an active role in events, shared learning and activities to promote the service to all that need it.

We are looking for enthusiastic therapists who want hands-on experience, with a caring and person-centred approach to the clients.  We want therapists who are happy to work independently but can show initiative and be part of a forward looking team building on existing services.

What can we offer you?

The challenge of making a real difference as part of a small enthusiastic team of specialised therapists, working for a Charity with over 30 years’ experience.

The MS Therapy Centre is leading the way in the delivery of physiotherapy, exercise and oxygen treatment to people with neurological conditions and we have ambitious plans for expansion.

We will support you in your learning and CPD to further develop your knowledge and skills.
