NMC (winner of the 2015 GSK Impact Award) is a national centre of excellence for adults with neuromuscular conditions, such as muscular dystrophy, with a reputation for outstanding quality and expertise.
Applicants would join an expert team of physiotherapists skilled in complex musculoskeletal therapy, hydrotherapy, modern exercise prescription, pain management and primary respiratory prevention.
NMC boasts CPD opportunities including an annual budget for courses and national networking.
In addition to the physiotherapy service, NMC provides; peer, carer and family support; a specialist lymphoedema management service; a social enterprise graphic design company; and a skills and training department - all designed to support and further individuals with lifelong muscle conditions.
