PATHWAY PHYSIOTHERAPIST

We are looking for a self-employed, suitably qualified and experienced physiotherapist to provide musculoskeletal physiotherapy support services to the England Netball Future Roses & Academy programmes. Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary pathway support team, we require the successful physio to establish, deliver and evaluate strategic plans to optimise athlete health and performance.

You will be someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced performance environment while supporting a group of world-class Netball athletes. Being able to establish good relationships with the coaches and other members of the support team through effective communication skills and onward actions in order to problem solve will be critical.  This opportunity will suit someone looking to work alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on developing athletes and delivering performance.

Day Rate: £150

Hours of Work: We have a requirement for a pathway physio approximately 75 days per year and will typically include working outside normal office hours at evenings and weekends and on Public Holidays. You will attend our Academy Pathway Camps which occur ~fortnightly between Aug-Dec. This role will also require some domestic and overseas travel demands (approximately 1 to 2 weeks per year). For more detail on the annual schedule please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Location: Netball Centre Loughborough University is the main location; however, you may be required to travel and work at other sporting venues nationally and internationally.
