Part Time Prison Physiotherapist

Working with patients with multiple, complex and/or chronic presentation health issues, you will be responsible for the advanced (MSK) assessment and treatment of patients within the offender healthcare setting, determining clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment indicated as well as maintaining records as an autonomous practitioner.
This is your opportunity to work as part of a forward thinking, innovative health care team; including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists and mental health professionals, delivering high quality, best practice treatment.
You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training and funding for external clinical courses, you will be provided with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development.
With proven post-registration experience of assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting you must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to learn and develop.

This role is a part time role working 28 hours per month at HMP Highpoint and 17.5 hours per month at HMP Warren Hill and HMP Hollesley Bay. Applications will be considered for candidates that wish to work at one, two or all three sites.
