Outpatient Lead Physiotherapist
An exciting vacancy has arisen for a suitably experienced Physiotherapist to lead the Outpatient Physiotherapy Team. This post provides an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated Physiotherapist to provide a comprehensive, client centred, quality physiotherapy service at Woodland Hospital.
You will be involved in developing and maintaining the service cross site. Close liaison with Physiotherapy Lead Inpatients, Head of Department and the MDT is essential for this role. This post provides a fantastic opportunity for a Physiotherapist who wishes to expand their current clinical knowledge and skills in to a specialist area; taking advantage of funding for external training if desired.
What you'll do
Working in partnership with a team of Physiotherapists you will manage a clinical caseload using an evidence based client centred approach to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. Ensuring excellent patient care is promoted within the hospital guided by appropriate regulatory and best practice frameworks. You will be responsible for ongoing development of service provision and the providing of clinical direction for other physiotherapy staff within the team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic therapist with good problem solving skills and an ability to network effectively. Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the appropriate relevant background in physiotherapy.

About Us
Woodland Hospital in Kettering has four laminar flow theatres, operating 6 days’ a week, covering a diverse range of elective services including Orthopaedic, Spinal, Pain, General Surgery, Weight Loss Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT and Ophthalmology. We have an Enhanced Recovery Programme (ERP) for hips and knees with our ALOV sitting just over 1 day. Our Ward Team work longer days to ensure patients are mobilised in a timely manner. We have a 23 bedded inpatient ward with 19 Daycase Rooms/Bays and 16 Outpatient Consulting Rooms. Our Physio Department has 4 clinic rooms, small gym and a virtual consultation suite.
