PHYSIOTHERAPY@CAREfirst - Andrew Larkin and Associates - is a busy physiotherapy practice in the largest medical centre in New Plymouth, with over 12,000 patients registered at the medical centre. We require a physiotherapist, preferably with some out-patient experience and an interest in sports injuries but will consider all applicants.
PHYSIOTHERAPY@CAREfirst is a modern clinic with individual treatment rooms, full staff facilities in the medical practice along with free access to an off-site gym. We treat a combination of sports injuries, repetitive overuse, spinal dysfunctions along with general acute musculoskeletal injuries. Additionally, we have strong links with other treatment providers delivering a variety of ACC contracts including SAW, PMS, BTW and RTW programmes.
We hold the full Taranaki Rugby Union contract and supply services to all teams including the Mitre 10 Cup, Farah Palmer cup, Academy and under 19’s and the Men’s and Women’s 7’s teams.
Our clinic has a strong emphasis on "hands on" manual therapy along with the appropriate exercise rehabilitation. PHYSIOTHERAPY@CAREfirst has 3 Physiotherapist’s with Post Graduate qualifications to ensure extremely high treatment standards and to assist with on-going workplace CPD. We have weekly clinical sessions and provide continual clinical support for staff.
How to apply
Salary will depend on the successful applicant’s experience. PHYSIOTHERAPY@CAREfirst will assist the successful applicant with costs associated with New Zealand Visa’s and New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate.
