Salary: £36,386 - £51,805 per annum (pro rata per annum if part-time) - Grade 7\8
Applications are encouraged from academics and aspiring academics with an interest in making a difference to the teaching and learning of pre and post registration students and contributing to our research profile. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive team of physiotherapy researchers and educators, and to support developments across core areas of physiotherapy practice. Alongside our discipline specific activities, we sit within the School of Health Professions which supports our ethos of interprofessional education and collaboration.
You will complement the strengths of our existing team. We particularly welcome applications from
people with a proven track record in the respiratory field.
These roles will:
- Contribute to the delivery of outstanding pre-registration and specialist postgraduate teaching and learning, facilitating a high-quality student experience
- Take part in all areas of academic practice including recruitment, placement support and personal tutoring
- Support our drive to be at the forefront of practice through research and/or professional development activities
You will be an experienced physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council with appropriate academic and professional experience. You will need to be a team player who is flexible, creative and enthusiastic. A higher degree (completed MSc or working towards PhD) is encouraged.

There are 2 positions available as follows:
Post 1:
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Post 2:
This is a part-time position working 11.1 hours per week on a fixed-term basis.
