An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and motivated individual or individuals to contribute to the delivery of physiotherapy education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the School of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Central Lancashire, Preston. The post holder will be focussed on teaching, learning and assessment within the physiotherapy provision.

We are seeking to appoint a physiotherapist with recent clinical experience or Higher Education experience. The post holder will have a contemporary understanding and knowledge of physiotherapy and healthcare education and practice within the UK. We are looking for an individual or individuals with experience in - neurology/paediatrics/musculoskeletal practice and service development/redesign/leadership.

Applicants must be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and be a registered physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council. They will hold an honours degree in physiotherapy and will ideally be qualified to post-graduate level.

Applicants must be committed to student success and experience and be able to show that they can effectively support learning and teaching in both the classroom and practice setting, including the promotion of inter-professional education. Therefore, experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is essential.

The successful applicant will need to be able to work as a team member, as well as be self-reliant. Presentation skills as well as planning and organisational skills are also core requirements for this role.
