An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position as a Lecturer (Education and Scholarship) and Clinic Director in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) in the School of Allied Health Professions. As Clinic Director you will also be required to lead, manage and grow the School’s Physiotherapy Clinic. The clinic offers SAHP students observational and hands-on experience, consequently student placement supervision will also be required.
The post holder will teach across the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. The School offers high quality undergraduate and postgraduate provision and is part of a wider research community. Physiotherapy, Radiography and Rehabilitation and Exercise Science are established and growing programmes within the School. Since September 2019 we offer a 4 year MSci in Physiotherapy and since January 2020, a 2 year pre-registration Masters in Physiotherapy.
You will play a part in the development of educational initiatives aligned with the School strategic direction, and will pursue scholarly activities in line with the School focus. You will be an HCPC registered Physiotherapist, with an appreciation of the principles of teaching and learning in higher education. Depending upon the profile of the successful candidate it may be possible to explore longer term career development opportunities that involve research.
